Saturday, August 29th, 2020 was a big day for WestJet, as leadership voted in favor of a merger with another VA by the name of EZ AIR. Lead by Matthew Denton and his staff members, EZ Air was founded at about the same time as us here at WestJet. They bring us 25 pilots bringing us to 70+ pilots total. “This merger benefits both EZ Air and WestJet as it allows for growth and new opportunities to advance technologies and activity,” Matthew said in the meeting Saturday evening. With this merger, we want you to be in the know about how things will operate. Matthew has become the Chief Security Officer, Johan the Events coordinator, Capt. K is in the office of Public Relations, and we are still figuring out where to place another one of their staff members. (This article will be updated when that happens).
